At the NA sitting, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security also touched upon the situation on the border, noting that the situation created on the sovereign territory of Armenia keeps everybody in tension. First of all, the armed forces are in tension.

Ha has noted that Armenia is an CSTO founder member, and our strategic partner, the Russian Federation is also member of that structure. In this context Andranik Kocharyan particularly said: “At this moment we have heard neither any statement, nor opportunity of using distinct toolset of actions. I won’t say that the monitoring problem has been put for months before the CSTO,” he said. “If we made the monitoring stage reality, then the adversary could not introduce any accusation against the Armed forces of Armenia,” he said.
